I decided to create this recipe because I truly miss the taste of hummus. Lately I have been really creative in the kitchen, Once Whole30 is over I want to continue carrying the habits that I have adopted during the journey. This is when imagination comes into play. In order to maintain a healthy life- style you have to become creative in the kitchen. This method will not allow you to get bored, and go wonder out looking for meals to satisfy your cravings.
* Before I move on, I want to clarify that there is absolutely nothing wrong or unhealthy about traditional hummus made with chickpeas However, I am following Whole30 right now, and legumes are not allow in the plan.
This was my second time making cauliflower hummus, and I have to be honest here. My first attempt was not good, I decided to modify measurements along some ingredients.The result was outstanding! which brought me to sit down, and share the recipe with you all.

I have been showing you how to incorporate them in smoothies bowls, and this time I am sharing another alternative to include superfoods in a more savory snack that can be shared with friends, family, or just a simple addition to your weekly meal preparation.

Most of the recipes that I share here are simple and can be done in about 15 to 20 minutes. This delicious and earthy hummus is not an exception. Roasting the cauliflower and letting it cool is the longest step of the recipe, but it is totally worth the wait.
If you never used Tahini before, it is a thick paste-like sauce made from sesame seeds, with a little bit of oil mixed in to make it the right consistency, and usually not much else. Tahini is similar to peanut butter in texture, and it is what gives hummus that nice creamy consistency. You can also use it to make vinaigrettes or other tasty spreads.
The beetroot I found at Unicornsuperfoods, this powder has a sweet, but earthy taste that paired really well with the cauliflower.
